The Challenge
Hennessy have a long association with music especially with Hip-Hop but the brand was keen to affiliate with the burgeoning contemporary jazz scene in London.
Insight & Strategy
Create a live music series at a member’s club with a brilliant music history and relevant members who are both music lovers and discerning cocktail drinkers. I curated a five-part music series where each event was a double header of two relevant and prominent artists either from the new jazz or urban scene who complimented each other, showcasing one-off musical moments with a nod to Hennessy’s rich musical history.
Uplift in sales of Hennessy cocktails at the club.
Solution
Sold out gigs with recorded performances from the likes of Andreya Triana, Emma-Jean Thackray, Oscar Jerome, Jaz Karis, Jerome Thomas and Blue Lab Beats. Social media activity from artists and influencers using the hashtag #hennessy. Uplift in sales of Hennessy cocktails at the club.
